Range of Experience. Michael Eckersley leads HumanCentered. With advanced training in design, social science, and education, Michael's professional experience is considerable. From 1999 to 2001, he served as Design Strategy Director for Sybase in their online financial services banking and brokerage business. Prior to that, he worked as a marketing and design consultant to leading companies in Publishing, Software, Health Technology, and Pharmaceuticals. Michael currently splits his time between the Kansas City area and the mountains of Park City, Utah.

The HumanCentered model was founded in 2001 with a small group of information and technology specialists from Sybase. Today, the team is augmented by domain experts in three states. Major projects total approximately four per year, with a number of small consults mixed in. Clients include leading companies in industries from Health Care and Enterprise Software to Fast Food and Consumer Products.
